Sustainiac® is an innovative technology for electric guitars that extends the sustain, i.e. the length of time the string vibrates. Using an electromagnetic pickup and special electronics, Sustainiac® allows guitarists to let sounds last longer and with more control. A distinctive feature is the selective activation or deactivation of the sustain effect, allowing flexible switching between normal playing and extended sustain.
The Floyd Rose® vibrato system, developed by Floyd D. Rose in the 1970s, is a widely used, advanced system for electric guitars.
