Fishman Fluence pickups are innovative, noiseless pickups with a Fluence Core, an active, multi-voice capable material. This allows for a versatile tonal range from vintage-inspired tones to modern, high-gain sounds. By eliminating traditional coils, they minimize unwanted noise and hum, especially at high gain levels. The integrated preamps improve the output level and enable precise sound shaping. Some models offer push-pull pots for seamless switching between different sound profiles without additional switches.
The Floyd Rose® vibrato system, developed by Floyd D. Rose in the 1970s, is a widely used, advanced system for electric guitars. Thanks to its double locking system, the guitar remains in tune, even during extreme bends and dives. This flexibility, including pull-up and dive bomb, makes it particularly popular with rock and metal guitarists. Fine adjustment is carried out precisely using micro adjustment screws, some models also offer fine tuning screws on the string riders for precise control of the tuning.
Locking tuners are specifically designed to increase tuning stability while making string changes easier. The main difference from traditional tuners is the way the strings are attached. With locking tuners, the string is not only wrapped around the mechanism, but also secured by a locking system. This system consists of a small clamping mechanism or screw that holds the string in place.
A "neck-thru" neck represents a sophisticated and high-quality construction. In contrast to guitars with screwed or glued necks, the neck extends through the entire body of the guitar. A key advantage of the neck-thru design is improved string transfer and longer sustain. Another plus point is easier access to higher frets. Due to the continuous neck, guitarists can effortlessly play up to the highest frets without a neck-body connection getting in the way.
An ebony fretboard is characterized by a clear and precise tone quality. The dense structure of the wood allows the string vibrations to be efficiently transferred to the body, resulting in a balanced sound spectrum with clear highs and well-defined mids.
The Flamed Maple wood is characterized by a striking pattern called "Flame" or "Tiger Stripe". This distinctive, flamed grain not only gives the guitar a visually appealing aesthetic, but also contributes to its tonal character. In terms of sound, the Flamed Maple top offers a balanced mix of brightness, sustain and clarity.
