John Browne TAO-7

The collaboration between Schecter and Monuments founder John Browne is reflected in the John Browne TAO-7 guitar. This all-round instrument features a swamp ash body with flamed maple veneer top and a bolt-on wenge and paduak neck with an "Ultra Thin-U" neck profile for fast and smooth playability. The sound is provided by a Schecter USA Colossus on the bridge and a Schecter USA Chaosbreaker on the neck. The black Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners and Hipshot Fixed Bridge complete this stylish masterpiece.

Benefits

Schecter Pickups

Schecter produces both time-honored replicas and contemporary single coils and humbucker pickups. All pickups from A for “Apocalypse” to Z for “Z Plus” are produced in the USA. From vintage to ultra-hot sounds, from six to eight strings, Schecter has the right pickup for everyone.

Hipshot® Bridge

The Hipshot® Bridge is a high-quality solution for electric guitars and basses, known for precision, stability and versatility. Hipshot® products are widely used in guitar technology and represent innovation and quality. Available as fixed bridge and tremolo bridges, they feature robust construction and high-quality materials such as stainless steel, ensuring longevity and tuning stability. The bridges allow for easy adjustment of string position and intonation, promoting improved string vibration transfer for a clear and resonant sound.

Locking Tuner

Locking tuners are specifically designed to increase tuning stability while making string changes easier. The main difference from traditional tuners is the way the strings are attached. With locking tuners, the string is not only wrapped around the mechanism, but also secured by a locking system. This system consists of a small clamping mechanism or screw that holds the string in place.

Ebony Fretboard

An ebony fretboard is characterized by a clear and precise tone quality. The dense structure of the wood allows the string vibrations to be efficiently transferred to the body, resulting in a balanced sound spectrum with clear highs and well-defined mids.

Flamed Maple Top

The Flamed Maple wood is characterized by a striking pattern called "Flame" or "Tiger Stripe". This distinctive, flamed grain not only gives the guitar a visually appealing aesthetic, but also contributes to its tonal character. In terms of sound, the Flamed Maple top offers a balanced mix of brightness, sustain and clarity.
